    CBT-E WORK WITH TEAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD

    In 2025, Club Majority partnered with the Centre for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford (CREDO) on research and outreach into Digital CBTe (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders) for eating disorders in underrepresented communities. Initial ideas include supporting inclusive recruitment for a feasibility study, improving accessibility, and cultural relevance through targeted community engagement, co-designed materials and contributor input.

    PARTNERSHIP WITH MCCAED

    Club Majority is currently working with the Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders (MCCAED) to increase the understanding of the community needs around young people, eating and body image concerns, and to greater understand any barriers experienced by adolescents from the global majority in accessing support if needed.

    EATING BEHAVIOURS IN BLACK MEN

    Club Majority is working alongside its partners at Loughborough University with the aim of investigating eating disorder behaviours among Black men in socially relevant spaces, such as barbershops. The aim is to gain deeper insights into the extent to which eating disorder behaviours exist amongst Black men in these settings, how these behaviours manifest, and the potential influence of social, cultural and psychological factors.

    MODULE FOR MEDICAL SCHOOLS

    Partnering with the School of Psychology, Sport Science and Wellbeing, at the University of Lincoln, Club Majority is helping to create a specialist eating disorders elective placement module for medical students. The content will have a particular focus on highlighting inequities in healthcare delivery, and ensuring breadth of knowledge to both educate and inspire the future generations of medical doctors.

    MUSLIM WOMEN'S NETWORK UK

    In 2024, Club Majority started work with the Muslim Women’s Network UK to raise awareness of eating disorders within Muslim women communities in a two-part resource pack. The resource will explore prevalence statistics, real-life testimonials, and provide general psychoeducation of eating disorders and their treatments, delving deep into the context of Islam. It is set to be released ahead of Ramadan 2026.

  • CLINICAL INNOVATION WITH THE RENFREW CENTER

    The team at Club Majority is currently working with the research team at The Renfrew Center in a pilot project for The Checklist for the Underrepresented in Eating Disorders (CUED™), a novel 18-item checklist that seeks to improve care outcomes and satisfaction with eating disorders service providers.
