    DR CHUKWUEMEKA NWUBA

    CO-FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

    Chuks brings his clinical experience as a psychiatry doctor, knowledge, and increasing influence in the eating disorders world, into Club Majority’s strategic vision. In his free time, he loves family time with his wife and two kids, writing stories, and watching football (and Bluey).

  • DARA AMOS-OLUWOLE

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Dara is an experienced business development writer and researcher. She is a BSc Psychology graduate with an MSc in Human-Computer Interaction Design. Her previous work has included exploring how social media affects Black women’s body image. In her free time, she enjoys playing netball, creating digital art, and reading.

    LUCINDA BROWN

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Lucy is a passionate researcher, with a Master’s in Development, Disorders, and Clinical Practice, and Bachelor’s in Psychology, from the University of York. She enjoys making real world change through actionable insights, to improve existing services. In her free time, she likes to escape to the countryside, try new restaurants, and is an avid podcast-listener.

    HEAD OF EVENTS

    Vaibhav is a final-year medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and brings his strong interest in using evidence to guide practice while recognising the individuality behind each patient’s story. His lived experience guides his deep appreciation for holistic approaches to health.

    DYLAN KENNEDY

    HEAD OF PHOTOGRAPHY

    Joining the team when Club Majority hosted ed/md 2024 (the world’s first eating disorder conference for medical students), Dylan has since gone on to become central to its operations. As well as being one of the most dependable people around, Dylan is in charge of all-things-photography, images, and visual wizardry.

    SHUBHI KOHLI

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Shubhi is an Indian-born aspiring psychologist from the University of Manchester. Her work has examined how cultural beliefs shape help-seeking behaviors among the global majority populations in the UK, analysing barriers to mental health support. She is also a TEDx speaker.

    HENRY LADDS

    VISUAL DESIGN LEAD

    Henry is a fresh-faced genius and graphic designer. Being immersed in creative and music hubs across the UK has had a major influence on his clean and bold typographic designs. These successfully communicate the many ideas for the various projects at Club Majority.

    KIMIA MAHDAVI

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Kimia is an Iranian-American aspiring psychologist with a heart for mental health care equity and social justice. Her previous work has sought to advance inclusivity and cultural competency. She has an MSc in Affective Disorders from King's College London and a BA in Psychology and French Studies from Scripps College, California. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and exploring new restaurants.

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Zahra is an aspiring health psychologist with a MSc in Health Psychology and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Manchester. Her experience includes support for refugees and asylum seekers. She is also passionate about the connection between nature connectedness, community, and well-being, striving to promote sustainable, equitable solutions for both human and planetary health.

    NITHURSHA NAGENDRABALAN

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Nii has a background in biomedical sciences and cancer research, driven by a passion for health equity. She has an MSc from UCL. Gifted in writing, Nii is skilled in translating complex data into impactful insights to support evidence-based change. She is eager to contribute to meaningful projects that promote inclusivity in healthcare.

    SERENA NANGIA

    HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS

    Serena is an advocate for equitable healthcare, eating disorder support, and weight-inclusive systems. As CEO of The Body Activists, she challenges weight stigma, using her lived experience, storytelling, and research to drive systemic change. Along with her local work, she co-leads an eating disorder support group for People in Larger Bodies at ANAD. A sought-after educator and public speaker, she amplifies diverse voices and centres Black Fat activists who shaped her work.

    HANA QAYOUMI

    RESEARCH ASSISTANT

    Hana brings a strong mix of research skills, curiosity, and a genuine passion for mental health equity amplifying underrepresented voices. She is a BSc Psychology graduate from the University of East Anglia. She also volunteers as an evidence reviewer for the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR).

  • DANIEL MANSARAY

    CO-FOUNDER AND NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    As Club Majority’s co-founder, Daniel is also the founder of The Eating Disorder Exercise Clinic. He is the founder of Renaissance FC, a mental health support-based football team for refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. Since 2016, he has worked with refugees and asylum seekers across Europe, expanding this to support female domestic workers in Lebanon stuck in the Kafala system. His work has received widespread acclaim and national coverage.

    PROFESSOR EVA TRUJILLO

    NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    As executive director and co-founder of Comenzar de Nuevo, A.C., Professor Trujillo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of pushing boundaries in eating disorder care. She has been globally recognised, receiving numerous awards and accolades for her world-leading work.
