MUSLIM WOMEN’S NETWORK UK
At Club Majority, we are working with the Muslim Women’s Network UK to raise awareness of Eating Disorders within Muslim women communities in a two-part resource pack. This resource hopes to inform Muslim women on various aspects of eating disorders, including prevalence statistics, definitions and possible treatments. Real-life testimonials from Muslim women, professionals, and those with lived experience, will explore the religious context and its potential effects on the experience of eating disorders.
Ahead of Ramadan 2026, Club Majority will release a second resource, composed of both written and video material, aiming to highlight the challenges around fasting with topics such as ‘Alternatives to Ramadan’ and ‘Should I be fasting?’. Short form videos providing tips and advice for those with eating disorders and those who support them will be shared to the Muslim Women Network’s social media platforms in the weeks running up to Ramadan 2026, as well as a recorded Q&A live stream taking place prior.
