Our Story

In 2021, Dr Chukwuemeka “Chuks” Nwuba (Director) and Daniel Mansaray (Non-Executive Director) met for the first time whilst both working with eating disorders patients in London.

Chuks first gained his degree in Medicine at the University of Manchester before later acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences with Management at Imperial College London. Having worked in both NHS and private settings for several years, Chuks now works in London’s most deprived borough.

Daniel is a unicorn in the field: both a physiotherapist and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) therapist specialising in those with eating disorders and compulsive exercise, a combination which has yielded superb outcomes wherever he has worked.

Both born and raised in London, with a heritage in West Africa, Chuks and Daniel were attuned to the systemic issues which they noticed seemed to exclude the majority of those with disordered eating from receiving optimal care and, in many cases, any care at all.

As a response to this, Club Majority was born.

The mission at Club Majority is to raise awareness, advocate for, and develop implementable solutions for underserved and minoritised communities with disordered eating.

We do this by working closely with grassroots organisations, partnering with those of lived experience, and collaborating with world-leading academics and organisations with a global reach.

No exclusion here—we believe in Eating Disorders Care, Benefitting All™.

Welcome to Club Majority.
